Ultrasound
One of the diagnostic developments in veterinary medicine in recent years is the availability of ultrasound tests for dogs and cats. The test allows a non-invasive investigation of the abdominal and thoracic cavity and allows observing the internal structure of the internal organs such as: liver, spleen, kidney, pancreas, examination of the digestive system, uterus and ovaries, early detection of tumors without physical penetration (surgery) into the abdominal cavity, thorax and testicles in males. The test also makes it possible to diagnose the presence of fluids in the abdominal or thoracic cavity and their pattern. The ultrasound device can help plan future surgical procedures and assist in taking biopsy samples from internal areas without the need for full surgery.
